SINGAPORE - As schoolchildren go mask-free in classrooms from Monday (Aug 29), parenting experts say the ongoing pandemic has already provided lessons in resilience for young people.

Masking will be optional after more than 2½ years of wearing face coverings in school, which, together with social distancing, affected children's interactions with others.
