SINGAPORE – Over 1.15 million Singaporeans aged 21 to 59 – more than 60 per cent of the 1.9 million eligible – have claimed their $600 SG60 vouchers, a day after claims for this age group opened.
Sharing this on her Facebook post shortly after 7pm on July 23, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling said since the SG60 vouchers campaign began three weeks ago, a total of over 2.08 million Singaporeans aged 21 and above have claimed their vouchers.
This includes more than 928,000 Singaporean seniors 60 years and above

Unlike CDC vouchers, which are issued to households, these one-off vouchers to celebrate Singapore’s 60th year of independence are for individual Singaporeans.

Over $160 million has been spent, with $95.5 million at participating hawkers and heartland merchants and more than $64.5 million at participating supermarkets, said Ms Low.
The SG60 vouchers are part of the broader SG60 package that Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced at Budget 2025 to recognise the contributions of all Singaporeans, and to share the benefits of the nation’s progress as Singapore marks its diamond jubilee.
In total, some three million adults will get the vouchers, which are estimated to cost the Government a total of $2.02 billion.
The SG60 vouchers, like the CDC vouchers, are aimed at supporting local heartlands and communities.
“By spending locally, we not only help heartland businesses thrive but also strengthen community ties and boost our local economy,” Ms Low said. “We look forward to the fresh injection of spending and higher activity level that the SG60 vouchers will bring to our local neighbourhood shops and hawkers.”
