Man taken to hospital after car turns turtle in KPE accident

SINGAPORE – A 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital following an accident involving two cars along the KPE on March 5.

The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident, which occurred along the KPE towards TPE near the Tampines Road exit, at about 3.20pm.

The male car driver was taken to Sengkang General Hospital conscious.

In a video posted on the Singapore Roads Accident.com Facebook page, an overturned black car is seen on the second lane of the expressway, with its headlights blinking.

On its X account, the Land Transport Authority informed drivers to avoid the second and third lanes of the expressway due to congestion stretching all the way to the PIE exit.

Police investigations are ongoing.
