Women aged 45 and older will have to satisfy certain conditions before they can undergo in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), now that the age limit has been lifted for them to have assisted reproduction.
Doctors must assess their patients' fitness to carry the pregnancy to term and "ensure the baby is delivered with the best outcome for the mother and child", the Ministry of Health (MOH) told The Sunday Times.
