The baby boy found abandoned in a rubbish chute bin in a Bedok North Housing Board block is in stable condition in hospital, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) said in an update to The Straits Times.
The baby was found by a cleaner on Jan 7 in a bloodstained plastic bag which was tied up, lying among bags of trash in the bin. He had no visible injuries and was taken to the KK Women's and Children's Hospital, it was earlier reported. Police investigations are ongoing.
