Municipal Services Office launches smartphone app for feedback

SINGAPORE - The Municipal Services Office on Sunday launched a mobile app to provide a common platform for the public to feedback on municipal issues.

The smartphone application, named OneService, will automatically route each feedback to the relevant agency so that more timely service can be provided.

Feedback categories in the app are arranged by the nature of issues such as Animals and Cleanliness.

Ms Grace Fu, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for the Environment and Water Resources and Foreign Affairs, said: "There is no need for you to know which agency to send your feedback to, as the categories are organised by issues, such as trees and greenery, roads and footpaths.

"The system will ensure that your feedback is sent to the right agency for action."

The government agencies participating in the app include the Land Transport Authority, National Parks Board, People's Association and the Police, among others.

First announced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong during the National Day Rally last year, the MSO was set up to ensure public agencies better coordinate to provide services that involve more than one of them.

It comes under the Ministry of National Development.
