Consultancy firm Mott MacDonald Singapore yesterday donated the $50,000 raised from its charity golf event to The Straits Times (ST) School Pocket Money Fund to help children from low-income families through school.

A cheque for the amount was presented by board member Kevin Dixon to Ms Tan Bee Heong, general manager of The ST School Pocket Money Fund, at a dinner at Seletar Country Club, which was attended by around 170 executives of various organisations.
