SINGAPORE – A 40-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to hospital after he was involved in an accident with a car on the morning of June 18.
The police told The Straits Times that the accident took place at the junction of Lower Delta Road and Alexandra Road at about 11.30am.
The motorcyclist was conscious when taken to the Singapore General Hospital by the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
In a video uploaded on Facebook page Singapore Road Accidents.com, the motorcyclist can be seen heading straight through a four-way junction, with the green light visible.
A silver car is then observed appearing to turn right from the opposite direction, before the two vehicles collide.
The collision sends the motorcyclist flipping over the bonnet of the car, and his shoes into the air, while his motorcycle falls on the road.
A 47-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations, which are ongoing, said the police.
