SINGAPORE - A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after an accident with a car on the PIE on July 18.

The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that they were alerted to the accident, which happened in the direction of Changi Airport, before the Bedok North Road exit, at about 8pm.

In dashcam footage of the accident posted to the SGRV Facebook page, a motorcyclist is seen forming up behind a car on the right-most lane of the expressway before crashing into its rear end and flipping over.

The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man, was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital, SCDF said.
