Motorcyclist injured after accident on BKE involving 3 cars

SINGAPORE - A motorcyclist was injured after an accident on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on Saturday morning (July 7).

Police said that they were alerted to an accident on the BKE towards the Woodlands Checkpoint at 11.47am involving a motorcycle and three cars. The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man, was injured in the accident.

He was conscious when taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) ambulance.

SCDF said that the hospital was on standby to receive the man.

In a series of photos uploaded on Facebook page Road Accident.SG, the motorcyclist is seen lying down in lane two as several cars remain stationary in the rightmost lane. Medical personnel are also seen attending to him.

Police investigations are ongoing.
