Firms providing on-demand home cleaning see healthy annual growth

Domestic cleaner Bryan Ang, 23, receives about 10 requests a day for his services that range from polishing windows to scrubbing toilets, and this number can go up to 25 during festive periods.

Business is booming, he said. He receives more requests now than three years ago when he first signed up with online marketplaces that connect residents with cleaners. Then, he was getting about two requests a day.
