Though more than 200 migrant workers break their fast at the Yusof Ishak mosque every day, yesterday marked the first time workers were formally invited to the mosque in Woodlands. Invitations were sent out to them in Bengali, Tamil and Hindi. The event - a collaboration with inter-faith initiative Giving Back Beyond Faith - also featured 30 migrant workers of various faiths sharing their experiences working in Singapore. Also in attendance was Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC MP Zainal Sapari.
