MEXICO CITY - Mexico is hoping for a boost in trade ties with Singapore following the signing of the free trade agreement between Singapore and the Pacific Alliance (PA) earlier this year.

Singapore and the PA - comprising Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru - signed the PASFTA on Jan 26, scrapping most tariffs on goods and allowing Singapore companies to bid for government projects in the Americas.
