Muslims performing special evening prayers yesterday, the first night of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, at the temporary site of Masjid Darul Ghufran in Tampines.
Muslims in Singapore will begin fasting today and celebrate Hari Raya Puasa on June 15.
The mosque in Tampines Avenue 5 is being upgraded to add more prayer spaces and improve its learning facilities.
The two-year upgrading process is expected to be finished at the end of the year.
