Commander of Royal Brunei Air Force makes farewell visit to Singapore

SINGAPORE - The Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force, who is in Singapore for his farewell visit, called on Second Minister for Defence Mr Lui Tuck Yew at the Ministry of Transport on Tuesday.

Brigadier-General (BG) (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Wardi bin Haji Abdul Latip, who is on a three-day visit, had earlier called on Chief of Defence Force Major-General Perry Lim and Chief of Air Force Major-General Hoo Cher Mou, after inspecting a Guard of Honour at the Ministry of Defence.

The Ministry said the visit " underscores the close and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Brunei".

The Republic of Singapore Air Force and the Royal Brunei Air Force interact regularly through professional exchanges as well as the annual bilateral exercise, Exercise Air Guard.
