SINGAPORE – A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital after an accident involving two cars in Tampines Road on the evening of Feb 22.
In response to queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were informed of the accident, which took place along Tampines Road towards the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway, at about 8.45pm.
The driver of one of the cars was taken conscious to Changi General Hospital, they said.
The Straits Times understands that he is the driver of a white car.
In a video posted on SG Road Vigilante on Facebook on Feb 24, a white car can be seen moving in the middle lane. A black car travelling on the leftmost lane moves to the middle lane after a bus in front of it makes a stop.
The black car can be seen colliding with the white vehicle, leading to the latter flipping twice before half mounting a kerb next to the road divider railing.
A traffic sign can also be seen collapsing during the collision.
Police investigations are ongoing.
