SINGAPORE – A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries after a fight in the early hours of Nov 11 and later arrested for possessing an offensive weapon.

The man was conscious and taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said in response to queries.

The police and SCDF said they were alerted to a fight at Block 182A Woodlands Street 13 at 12.55am.

In photos seen by The Straits Times on social media platform Telegram, a pool of blood on a road near a block of Housing Board flats can be seen.

Visible in the background are a police cordon, four police officers and at least three police cars.

A woman was assessed for minor injuries but she declined to be taken to the hospital.

Efforts are under way to trace others who were also likely involved in the investigation, the police said.
