SINGAPORE – A 25-year-old driver was arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicating substances on the evening of Oct 24, following a car accident he was involved in.
In response to queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident in Holland Road at about 8.10pm that day involving a car which is believed to have skidded.
An e-vaporiser and three e-vaporiser pods were seized, and the vape-related offence will be referred to the Health Sciences Authority, police said.
Four police cars and an ambulance were seen when The Straits Times arrived at the scene on the evening of Oct 24.
Police officers were also seen attending to a man seated on the roadside pavement.
No ambulance assistance was required, SCDF said.
Police investigations are ongoing.
