SINGAPORE – A 28-year-old man was arrested for a string of offences, including dangerous driving and driving under the influence of an intoxicating substance, said the police on April 26.

He was also arrested for driving a vehicle without insurance coverage and driving without valid road tax, they added.

Checks on OneMotoring showed that the Mercedes-Benz GLC300 hybrid car’s road tax had expired in December 2024.

The police said they were alerted at 12.55pm on April 25 to an accident involving three cars and a motorcycle at the junction of Punggol Field and Edgedale Plains.

The motorcyclist, 34, was taken to the hospital while conscious.
