Prajit Nanu was an average student in Mumbai. Orphaned in his teens, ambition drove him to start the fintech Nium, which is now worth US$1 billion.

From an early age, Prajit Nanu knew that he wanted to be rich and successful.

Growing up in Mumbai, he would gaze at the expensive houses by the sea and wish he could live in such a house, too.
