Farmers in Lim Chu Kang whose properties sustained damage during a fierce storm last Friday are in a quandary.

They could dig deep into their pockets to pay for repairs costing up to $100,000, only to have to pack up when their leases expire next year, or leave things be and risk making losses in their day-to-day operations.
