Three Housing Board blocks in Serangoon Avenues 2 and 3 were awash with colour and lights last night as part of an arts festival organised by the Braddell Heights Community Arts and Culture Club. The SG50 Lights of Life @ Braddell Heights event saw the HDB blocks covered with photographs of 3,000 residents, along with LED displays. The club and Braddell Heights Zone E Residents' Committee also broke the Singapore record for the largest display of hand-painted ping-pong balls - a total of 1,628 - which will be shown off in a tank and used at future community events.
