SINGAPORE - Retirement used to be seen as the welcome and inevitable conclusion of a person's working life, but does the concept make much sense any more?
People are living longer, suggesting that the retirement age will keep inching upwards. Would it simply be better to allow people to choose when they want to quit the coalface?
