Majority of platform workers have no immediate plans to leave their jobs: Poll

SINGAPORE - About seven in 10 platform workers here joined the gig economy during the Covid-19 pandemic, a street poll by The Sunday Times has found.

But despite the recovering job market, only one in four of the 78 platform workers surveyed last month - 30 full-timers and 48 part-timers - have plans to leave the job within the year.
