Japan PM Abe to attend funeral of Mr Lee Kuan Yew

TOKYO - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will attend the state funeral for former Singapore leader Lee Kuan Yew on Sunday, it was reported.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga announced Mr Abe's trip at a press briefing on Friday, according to Xinhua news agency.
Mr Lee, who is Singapore's founding father, died on Monday at the age of 91. He was prime minister of Singapore from 1965 to 1990, and later served as a senior minister and minister mentor.
