Introducing herself often elicits surprised or confused looks, but Ms Ivfen - pronounced "Ive-fern" - Foong is now used to it.

"It's a very good icebreaker. It gets the conversation going because my name is pretty unique and I get to tell a story," said the 26-year-old who was named after the in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) process her parents went through.
