Interpol’s director of cybercrime Craig Jones said Singapore is also seeing its share of business e-mail compromise cases.

Business e-mail compromise (BEC), or "CEO fraud", is an increasingly prevalent crime reported globally, with losses from it doubling from 2017 to last year, warned Interpol's director of cybercrime Craig Jones yesterday.
Speaking to The Straits Times at the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation in Napier Road, Mr Jones said the average person should be aware of the crime trend as well, as it could impact him indirectly.
