SINGAPORE - I have been told, time and again, that owning my HDB flat located right outside the CBD is like striking the lottery.

I live in Pinnacle  @  Duxton, the "poster child" of HDB estates located in prime areas. Every day, I get fliers on my doorstep and in my post box telling me that many flats in the estate have been sold for more than $1 million.
