SINGAPORE - The gas tariff for households will increase by 3.6 per cent from next month to Oct 31, according to supplier City Gas.

It will increase by 0.57 cent per kilowatt hour (kWh), from 16.03 cents per kWh to 16.60 cents per kWh.

This is due to a 26.2 per cent increase in fuel costs from the previous quarter.

City Gas reviews the gas tariffs every quarter based on guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority, the gas industry regulator.
