SINGAPORE - Could the latest move to widen the scope of the redevelopment incentive scheme to the Central Business District (CBD) fringe areas of Anson and Cecil Street attract more developers and investors to add long-stay serviced apartments to Singapore’s rental landscape?

Introduced in November 2023, long-stay serviced apartments have not gained much traction here due to risks associated with this untested rental category, and the locations where state land plots with such components were offered earlier.
