Drink driving suspect arrested after crash

A 25-year-old driver was arrested for suspected drink driving after an accident with a motorcycle in Marine Parade yesterday.

Police said they were alerted at around 7.30am to the accident at the junction of Still Road and East Coast Road.

A 42-year-old woman, who was riding pillion on the motorcycle, was taken to Changi General Hospital, said the police spokesman.

Photos sent to Chinese evening newspaper Shin Min Daily News showed two people on the ground next to a fallen motorcycle.

Police investigations are ongoing.


Boy, 12, and girl, 13, reported missing

A 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl have been reported missing in separate cases.

The police are appealing for information on Anaqi Binish and Rachael Tan Sher Min.

Rachael was last seen at Block 116 Ho Ching Road on June 14 at 6.30pm.

Anaqi was last seen at Block 344 Clementi Avenue 5 on Tuesday at about 1pm.
