Healthy demand for Hungry Ghost items despite price rises

Hell notes and other prayer paraphernalia for the Hungry Ghost Festival, or Zhong Yuan Jie, have not been spared price increases from inflation, but merchants have seen a healthy demand since the seventh lunar month started last Friday.
While some shops have raised prices due to higher freight and raw material costs, others are opting to trim their profit margins to retain customers.
