One of Singapore's trailblazing clinician scientists, Professor Wong Tien Yin, who is medical director of the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), is forging a new path in Beijing, China, early next year.

Taking the road less travelled, as he is wont to do, he will become the founding head of Tsinghua Medicine, a new healthcare and medical sciences academy at Tsinghua University.
