When Ms H left Singapore for Wuhan last month, she saw it as a special Chinese New Year reunion with her extended family there, some of whom had yet to meet her son, who is only a few months old.
She is a Singapore permanent resident and Chinese national and, together with her Singaporean husband, had planned to spend about three weeks in Wuhan before returning on Jan 24.
