Mr P had noticed a tiny red spot at the side of his nose for the past six months. He brushed it aside, though he did wonder why, at 55 years old, he was still getting pimples.

The red spot gradually grew larger and resulted in a tiny sore wound on the nose with occasional mild bleeding.
