More women have sought treatment for endometriosis here in recent years, but most of them are coming in too late, said Dr Ma Li, an associate consultant at the National University Hospital (NUH) Women's Centre.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissues resembling the lining of the womb grow in other organs such as the ovaries, bowels and even the lungs and nose.
