SINGAPORE - A remodelling is taking shape at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH).
Some of the old, tired wards are being overhauled, and the focus is shifting upstream - to try and catch mental illness early. This signals a change in the thinking on mental healthcare, which has long been mired in stigma.
