Hospital charity funds ease patients' financial burden during Covid-19

SINGAPORE - Hospitals here have been helping financially strapped patients via their charity funds to pay for interim services like ambulance transport, and dialysis.
The National University Health System (NUHS), one of three public healthcare clusters in Singapore which the National University Hospital is part of, said eligible patients who are assessed to be in financial need may receive funding support for items not covered under MediFund.
