SINGAPORE - A young doctor serving his bond as a medical officer (MO) worked illegally as a locum at a clinic to earn extra money so he could visit his former girlfriend in Canada.

Dr Joel Arun Sursas, whose age was not given, admitted to earning $13,000 as a locum on 47 occasions between July and December 2015.
