SINGAPORE - A batch of the Ben & Jerry's Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream has been recalled as a precautionary measure, the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority (AVA) announced on Thursday (July 7).
This comes after it received public feedback on Tuesday (July 5) about a plastic film in a tub of the popular American ice cream brand.
The affected batch number, which can be found at the bottom of the tub, is NOV052017 5095 3 18:19 84150073.
Consumers who have purchased the implicated product should not consume it, said AVA, adding that it is working with the importer to investigate the matter.
