53 new locally transmitted Covid-19 cases in Singapore, including 15 unlinked

SINGAPORE - There were 53 new locally transmitted coronavirus cases reported at noon on Tuesday (Aug 10).

Of the new cases, 31 were linked to previous infections and had already been placed under quarantine.

Another seven were not in quarantine when they were tested positive.

The remaining 15 were unlinked cases.

There was also one imported case who was detected and isolated upon arrival here, said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

MOH will give more details on Tuesday night.
