SINGAPORE - Ms Belinda Tanoto, 36, a scion of the wealthy family behind the Tanoto Foundation, said her parents would take her and her three siblings to an orphanage on their birthdays, where they would share their toys and books with the children there.

"We could buy new toys for them. But the idea is for us to share something that is ours," she said.
