SINGAPORE - The review of guidelines for charities that venture into business is expected to be completed next year, the charities watchdog told The Straits Times, and it will consult stakeholders in the sector while doing so.
The Commissioner of Charities (COC) Ang Hak Seng is enhancing the guidelines, first published in 2011, "to better protect charities' interests when they embark on business activities".
