After eight seasons and 73 episodes, HBO hit series Game Of Thrones came to an end when its finale hit screens in Singapore yesterday.

The series, which started in 2011, has grown into a phenomenon many believed was gone with Friends (1994 to 2004) - the water-cooler show and event that people gathered to chat about the next day.
