The dinner, held at Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy to mark Hari Raya Aidilfitri, was attended by about 250 migrant workers from Marine Parade Town Council, construction firm Sambo and Samsung. Members of Parliament Edwin Tong and Lim Biow Chuan also attended the event. Mr Klaus Gottschalk, general manager of Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy, said it was the first time that Roxy Foundation had organised an event for migrant workers. The foundation was set up by property and hospitality group Roxy-Pacific Holdings to grow and support its corporate social responsibility efforts.
