SINGAPORE - Employees who falsify expense claims often cheat their firm of only a small amount, but such cases are common and the financial loss can snowball.
A study of 2,110 cases worldwide of fraud at the workplace found that some $3.6 billion was lost to occupational fraud - cases of dishonest staff cheating their firms of resources.
