Fire breaks out at Ubi Road 1

SINGAPORE - A fire broke out in a warehouse at the industrial area of Ubi on Monday evening.

Smoke was seen billowing out at Block 3019 along Ubi Road 1.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed the incident, and said fire-fighting operations were ongoing.

At 10.52pm, the police tweeted that the fire had been put out.

The Straits Times understands that one person has been taken to Changi General Hospital.
