SINGAPORE - Some Singtel business customers may be experiencing problems with their fibre-based services, after some of the telco's fibres were damaged by a contractor.
In a statement on Thursday (Oct 1) morning, Singtel said that some of its fibres were damaged by a roadworks contractor at 2.08am.
Singtel said its engineers have been on site and most of the circuits were restored by 6.09am.
"Unfortunately, some customers may still be experiencing difficulties accessing fibre-based services," it said. "We apologise for the inconvenience caused and will keep you posted as soon as there are further updates."
