SINGAPORE - A female pedestrian died after an accident involving a motorcycle in Serangoon in the wee hours of Dec 25.

The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident at 12.20am in Upper Serangoon Road.

The 56-year-old woman was taken unconscious to Sengkang General Hospital, where she later died.

The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, who was also unconscious after the accident, was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Police investigations are ongoing.
