SINGAPORE - A female cyclist was knocked down by a lorry along Bedok South on Sunday (July 17) afternoon.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call requiring assistance for a road traffic accident at 71 Bedok South Road at 3.50pm.

An ambulance was sent to the scene. SCDF said the woman, in her 50s, was conveyed conscious to Changi General Hospital.

A picture sent in by Mr David Foo showed passers-by attending to the victim as she lay on the road.
